According to the Act of July 28, 2023, amending the Act – Family and Guardianship Code and certain other acts (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1606), the Hotel is obliged to implement the Minor Protection Standards (SOM) by August 15, 2024.
STANDARDS IMPLEMENTED BY HOTEL ACTIVE
In connection with the SOM standards requirements, please bring documents proving the identity of the adult legal guardian and the minor (this applies to every minor, i.e., a person under 18 years of age) traveling with you. If you are traveling with a child who is not your own or for whom you are not the legal guardian, please prepare a written consent from the parents or legal guardians for traveling with the child.
Here are some examples of documents that can prove the identity of the minor: identity card, school ID, MObywatel application, Internet Patient Account.
If you are not the parents of the minor, written consent from the parents will be required, containing the child's details, home address, parents' contact phone number, identity document number, and the PESEL number of the person traveling with the child. The consent must be handed over to the reception upon check-in.
